Midrange är perfekt för medeldistans där fairway drivern är för lång och puttern för kort. Midrangen är den disc som brukar rekomenderas till nybörjare för att det är en allround disc som oftast är lättkastad och går att använda till korta avstånd såväl som långa men är optimal för medeldistansen.
